Dr. David Rothman presented an engaging lecture and simulated hands on clinic at our fall continuing education course in Fredericksburg, Texas. Dr. Rothman’s lecture titled “Sedation Emergency Action Plan and Preparedness in the Pediatric Dental Office per new TSBDE Rules” was well delivered and relevant.

Honoring Dr. Suzi Seale
Former students, current residents, faculty and friends went to Dallas in June 2018 to honor the life of Dr. Suzi Seale.
Dr. Suzi Seale has made an enduring difference in the professional paths of pediatric dentistry graduate students for more than four decades at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. With 23 years of leadership as department head, plus 17 as graduate program director, it’s safe to say the ’70 ’72 alumna came into contact with each and every one of them.

Dr. Zimmerman Meets with Congress
In June 2018, Dr. Jason Zimmerman, chair of the legislative committee went to Fort Worth to visit with congress. He met with US Congressman Michael Burgess to discuss more on expanding the mission of the TAPD.

We had a great event during the TAPD meeting this year in San Antonio. Dr. Blume and Dr. Zimmerman met with US Representative and Dentist Dr. Brian Babin. We also spent time with our advocates such as Mr. Charlie Schnabel at the TAPD President’s Dinner.
